Beauty is God's handwriting,--a wayside sacrament.
      - [Beauty]

Believe and be confirmed.
      - [Confirmation]

Beyond is all abyss, eternity, whose end no eye can reach.
      - [Eternity]

But God himself is truth; in propagating which, as men display a greater integrity and zeal, they approach nearer to the similitude of God, and possess a greater portion of his love.
      - [Truth]

But infinite in pardon is my Judge.
      - [Pardon]

But thy words, with grace divine imbued, bring to their sweetness no satiety.
      - [Satiety]

But what avail'd this temperance, not complete
  Against another object more enticing?
      - [Proverbs]

But when lust,
By unchaste looks, loose gestures, and foul talk,
But most by lewd and lavish arts of sin,
Lets in defilement to the inward parts,
The soul grows clotted by contagion,
Imbodies and imbrutes, till she quite lose
The divine property of her first being.
      - [Lust]

By a certain fate, great acts, and great eloquence have most commonly gone hand in hand, equalling and honoring each other in the same ages.
      - [Greatness]

By steps we may ascend to God.
      - [Aspiration]

Capricious, wanton, bold, and brutal Lust
  Is meanly selfish; when resisted, cruel;
And, like the blast of Pestilential Winds,
Taints the sweet bloom of Nature's fairest forms.
      - [Lust]

Chance governs all.
      - [Chance]

Childhood shows the man, as morning shows the day.
      - [Children]

Confidence imparts a wonderful inspiration to its possessor.
      - [Confidence]

Confirm'd then I resolve,
Adam shall share with me in bliss or woe:
So dear I love him, that with him all deaths
I could endure, without him live no life.
      - [Fidelity]

Consider first, that great or bright infers not excellence.
      - [Excellence]

Conspicuous with three listed colors gay, betokening peace from God, and covenant new.
      - [Rainbows]

Courage never to submit of yield.
      - [Courage]

Darkness visible.
      - [Darkness]

Death from sin no power can separate.
      - [Immortality]

Death ready stands to interpose his dart.
      - [Death]

Deep versed in books and shallow in himself.
      - [Books]

Demoniac frenzy, moping melancholy.
      - [Melancholy]

Dim sadness did not spare that time celestial visages; yet, mixed with pity, violated not their bliss.
      - [Sadness]

Distends with pride, and hardening in his strength.
      - [Obduracy]
