Wise men ne'er sit and wail their loss,
But cheerly seek how to redress their harms.
      - [Loss]

Wise men sometimes avoid the world:
They lose it that do buy it with much care.
      - [World]

Wisely weigh our sorrow with our comfort.
      - [Sorrow]

Wish chastely, and love dearly.
      - [Love]

Wit larded with malice.
      - [Satire]

With eager feeding food doth choke the feeder.
      - [Eating]

With his eyes in flood with laughter.
      - [Laughter]

With sad unhelpful tears, and with dimm'd eyes
Look after him and cannot do him good.
      - [Tears]

With silence, nephew, be thou politic.
      - [Silence]

With the losers let it sympathize; for nothing can seem foul to those that win.
      - [Success]

With this kiss take my blessing. God protect thee!
      - [Kisses]

Within the hollow crown
That rounds the mortal temples of a king,
Keeps death his court; and there the antick sits,
Scoffing his state, and grinning at his pomp.
      - [Crowns]

Wolves and bears, they say, casting their savagery aside, have done like offices of pity.
      - [Savages]

Women are angels, wooing:
Things won are done; joy's soul lies in the doing:
That she beloved knows naught, that knows not this--
Men prize the thing ungained more than it is.
      - [Courtship]

Wooing thee, I found thee of more value
  Than stamps in gold or sums in sealed bags;
And 'tis the very riches of thyself
      That now I aim at.
      - [Courtship]

Words sweetly placed and modestly directed.
      - [Eloquence]

Would it not grieve a woman to be over-mastered by a piece of valiant dust? to make an account of her life to a clod of wayward marle?
      - [Wives]

Yea this man's brow, like to a tragic leaf,
Foretells the nature of a tragic volume.
      - [Countenance]

Yet he's gentle, never schooled and yet learned.
      - [Schools]

Yon gray lines that fret the clouds are messengers of day.
      - [Morning]

Yon grey lines
That fret the clouds are messengers of day.
      - [Dawn]

Yon towers, whose wanton tops do buss the clouds.
      - [Spires]

You are old;
Nature in you stands on the very verge
Of her confine: you should be ruled and led
By some discretion, that discerns your state
        Better than you yourself.
      - [Discretion]

You are yoked with a lamb,
  That carries anger as the flint bears fire;
Who, much enforced, shows a hasty spank,
      And straight is cold again.
      - [Anger]

You cram these words into mine ears, against the stomach of my sense.
      - [Sense]
