O villains, vipers, dogs, easily won to fawn on any man!
      - [Servility]

O wretched state! O bosom black as death! O limed soul that, struggling to be free, art more engaged! Help, angels! Make assay! Bow, stubborn knees! and, heart with strings of steel, be soft as sinews of the new-born babe!
      - [Repentance]

O'ercanopied with luscious woodbine, with sweet musk-roses, and with eglantine.
      - [Roses]

O, 'tis the cunning livery of hell,
The damned'st body to invest and cover
    In princely guards.
      - [Sin]

O, answer me:
Let me not burst in ignorance! but tell,
Why thy canoniz'd bones, hearsed in death,
Have burst their cerements! why the sepulchre
Wherein we saw thee quietly in-urn'd,
Hath op'd his ponderous and marble laws,
            To cast thee up again?
      - [Ghosts]

O, be sick, great greatness, and bid thy ceremony give thee cure! Thinkest thou the fiery fever will go out with titles blown from adulation?
      - [Greatness]

O, he sits high in all the people's hearts:
And that, which would appear offence in us,
    His countenance, like richest alchymy,
Will change to virtue and to worthiness.
      - [Popularity]

O, how ripe in show
Thy lips, those kissing cherries, tempting grow.
      - [Lips]

O, I cry your mercy;
There is my purse, to cure that blow of thine.
      - [Gold]

O, it came over my ear like the sweet south, that breathes upon a bank of violets, stealing, and giving odor!
      - [Music]

O, it comes over my memory, as doth the raven over the infected house, boding to all.
      - [Remembrance]

O, my Antonio, I do know of these,
That therefore only are reputed wise,
    For saying nothing.
      - [Silence]

O, she is fallen
Into a pit of ink, that the wide sea
Hath drops too few to wash her clean again.
      - [Guilt]

O, that a man might know
The end of this day's business, ere it come,
    But it sufficeth that the day will end;
And then the end is known.
      - [Eternity]

O, that a mighty man of such descent,
Of such possessions, and so high esteem,
Should be infused with so foul a spirit!
      - [Degeneracy]

O, that men should put an enemy in their mouths to steal away their brains!
      - [Intemperance]

O, that the slave had forty thousand lives;
One is too poor, too weak for my revenge.
      - [Revenge]

O, that way madness lies; let me' shun that.
      - [Madness]

O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!
      - [Falsehood]

O, what damned minutes tells he o'er, who dotes, yet doubts; suspects, yet strongly loves!
      - [Jealousy]

Oaths are straws, men's faiths are wafer-cakes, and hold-fast is the only dog.
      - [Oaths]

Obey thy parents, keep thy word justly; swear not; commit not with man's sworn spouse; set not thy sweet heart on proud array. * * * Keep thy foot out of brothels, thy pen from lenders' books.
      - [Conduct]

Observe degree, priority, and place.
      - [Order]

Of all base passions fear is most accurs'd.
      - [Fear]

Of chastity, the ornaments are chaste.
      - [Chastity]
